Imperius

I am a big fan of the Hokuto No Ken Series so much so that it makes me wonder: How come most anime series these days are the same old repetitive crap? It seems that most animes have the same damn story line. High school age kid in a somewhat modern Japan or out in space like the Gundam series, gets caught in some kind of shit storm and then is expected to carry the fate of many on his shoulders. Can you say: Typical?

Anyway, the point I was trying to make is that there needs to be more animes out there like Hokuto No Ken: muscle bound men that look like they could bench press tanks, lots of blood and body parts either exploding or falling apart, and lots of martial arts action. I also plan on throwing in some busty babes and erotic moments, but that's just to spice things up even though they could have been used in the Hokuto No Ken series.

But what's most important is that instead of complaining about there being a lack of anything relevant to Hokuto No Ken, I brainstormed an idea for creating a series like the Houkto No Ken genre and the story Imperius came to mind.

Plot

The plot of Imperius has that of a Greece-Roman setting. The region that would be called Greece is known as Arcadius and the Roman Empire would be referred to as the Tyranian Empire. City-States like Athens would be referred as Aethos and Sparta would be known as Raxsus, where the lead character is from.

The story is that Mathayus is one of the last survivors of Raxsus, a city-state that had once produced the fiercest warriors know to man (like the Spartans) but was destroyed by the evil Tyranian Empire. 15 years after it's destruction, Mathayus descends from Mount Pelios to make his final vow to his ancestors, to destroy the Tyranian Empire. Along the way he meets the children thieves Nelios and Julia, his childhood friend Verona along with her fellow gladiators, and the mysterious Black Rider.

With constant odds against him and his companions, Mathayus fights pirates, warlords, cutthroats and the Legions of the Tyranian Empire, the fate of the world rests on his shoulders.
